This Privacy Policy describes how SimpleWOL ("Service", "we") handles information from users of the SimpleWOL Alexa Skill and the web portal available at www.simplewol.click. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this document.

We do not collect voice recordings, Alexa command history, location data, biometric data, payment information, or any other information beyond what is listed above.
SimpleWOL is an Alexa Smart Home Skill. All natural language processing is performed entirely by Amazon; SimpleWOL only receives the structured intent (e.g., "turn on device X") and never has access to the user's voice recordings.
Data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest and contractual necessity, for the following purposes:

Data is not sold, transferred, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. The Service uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure exclusively as a cloud computing provider (region us-east-1, Virginia, USA), subject to AWS privacy and compliance policies.

All communication occurs exclusively via HTTPS with TLS. Authentication tokens are generated with cryptographically secure entropy. MAC addresses are local network data and do not by themselves allow remote access to registered devices.

The web portal uses a single session cookie with the
HttpOnly and Secure attributes, used
exclusively for authentication. No tracking, advertising, or behavioral
analytics cookies are used.
SimpleWOL is not directed at children under 13 years of age and does not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child's data has been collected, please contact us immediately for deletion.
This policy may be updated periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised version.
